World Trade Centre Winnipeg has partnered with FITT — the Forum for International Trade Training — to bring Manitoba professionals a structured, instructor-led version of the FITTskills program. Whether you’re new to international trade or looking to formalize your expertise, FITTskills gives you the practical skills and credentials to compete in global markets.
FITTskills is the training program behind Canada’s most recognized trade designation, the Certified International Trade Professional (CITP®). Completing courses through WTC Winnipeg puts you on that path — with the added benefit of expert guidance, peer interaction, and a structured learning environment.
Program Overview
FITTskills through WTC Winnipeg is delivered virtually in a condensed, instructor-led format. Each course runs approximately 30 days and includes four live online sessions. Curriculum and supporting materials are provided. Evaluations and testing for certification are administered by FITT.

Courses taken through WTC Winnipeg count toward FITT’s formal credential pathway. Evaluations and certification testing are administered directly by FITT.
- Complete 3 courses → Eligible for the FITT Certificate
- Complete all 6 courses → Eligible for the FITT Diploma in International Trade
- FITT Diploma + experience → Pathway toward the CITP® designation
The Certified International Trade Professional (CITP®) is Canada’s most respected credential for trade professionals, and the only designation of its kind endorsed by the Canadian government. Completing the FITTskills program is one of the key requirements on the path to earning it.
