Program Manager

We are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Program Manager professional to join the World Trade Centre Winnipeg (WTC Winnipeg) team.

As the Program Manager, and reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and leading the organization’s projects and programs by leveraging your strong communication, problem-solving skills, and program management expertise. The Program Manager is Responsible For:

1) Program Strategy & Planning:

  • Design and develop yearly calendar and project charters for new programs and initiatives, and present recommendations to the Leadership Team for approval.
  • Develop and continuously improve WTC Winnipeg’s programming portfolio to align with organizational priorities and client needs.

 

2) Program Delivery:

  • Lead the successful execution of programs, events, and strategic initiatives while ensuring quality, efficiency, and budget management.

 

3) Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build strong relationships with clients, partners, sponsors, and service providers, and represent WTC Winnipeg within the business community.

 

4) Performance & Continuous Improvement:

  • Monitor program performance, evaluate outcomes through surveys, and implement improvements to enhance client experience and organizational impact.

 

5) Operational Excellence:

  • Maintain accurate program documentation, reporting, and financial oversight while supporting organizational priorities.

You and Your Experience:

  • Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Project Management, commerce, Marketing, Event Management, or another related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Able to present information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and logistical skills to ensure high-quality results.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
  • Strong English communication skills are essential, and French is considered a strong asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and professionalism.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances in a multi-tasking work environment.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint and Teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is considered an asset.
